10 pm CST - What a week...

It would be so nice if you could just bottle the past week for Bama fans, like myself.

Obviously, the national championship season is one we will talk about and enjoy for the rest of our lives. But in addition to the football victory over Texas, there were a couple of other big wins for Crimson Tide teams.

Last Monday, Anthony Grant's basketball team went on the road and won on an opponent's home floor for the first time this season. The Tide hammered Toledo by 17.

Then, after the title game Thursday, Bama gymnastics beat Auburn.

Again.

For the 99th time in a row.

No. Seriously....THE 99TH TIME IN A ROW!

And then on Saturday, men's basketball was again a winner - this time in SEC play. The Tide rolled over LSU 66-49, marking the 11th win in 15 games for Grant and Alabama.

I have no idea if that trend can continue this week against Vandy, but I am in no way counting this team out.

If you aren't already planning to attend the 8 p.m. tipoff, I hope you will strongly consider it. This is Coach Grant's first home conference game. His team plays their backsides off. It's an entertaining style of play. And it's a very tough opponent.

They need you there, and I don't think you'll be disappointed in what you see. I'm not guranteeing a victory. I'm just saying you'll be pleased with the product he's putting on the floor.

Have a great week and ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!
