Chris at Clemson
6 p.m. EST - Live from Clemson....it's Tuesday night!

Okay, it doesn't have the same ring to it, does it?

Hope everybody is back in off the ledge after the Sugar Bowl loss. I'll share some E-mails I've gotten about it later in the week.

Tonight is a big night for the Alabama Basketball team. This is a golden opportunity to regain some respect nationally. Only one team has played undefeated Clemson within 10 points at Littlejohn Coliseum. The Crimson Tide is an underdog - by double digits - but I do think they can win. They can't afford any lapses, though.

Zero. Period. None.

Alabama got hammered by the Tigers last year. In that game there was little direction from the point guard slot in the second half, Mykal Riley was 0-for-8 from three point range, and Senario Hillman was nowhere near the player he is now. Alabama now has the type of team that can run with Clemson. But, again, they have to play smart and under control.

Win this game, and the outlook changes tremendously. Lose embarassingly, as they did 12 months ago, and I think it will be very tough - mentally - to go back home and get a win against LSU Sunday afternoon.

Tipoff is set for 8 Central. Airtime is at 7:30 on the Crimson Tide Sports Network. I hope you'll tune in.

It will be very late before I get back home. I likely won't be able to post anything on the game until after lunch Wednesday, but I'll do my best to get something on the site as soon as possible.

Have a great night and Roll Tide!

I
